The nokogiri (鋸) or Japanese hand saw is a type of saw used in woodworking and Japanese carpentry. They cut on the pull stroke, unlike most European saws. Pull stroke cutting is more efficient and precise, leaving a narrower cut width. The Mini-Ryoba has a different teeth design and it is also smaller than the classic Ryoba.
